Salary: £85,000 - 105,000 per year Requirements: Proven cloud-native solution architecture on GCP and/or AWS, ideally certified at professional level, with strong fluency in managed services Experience taking at least one system from blank sheet to live Practical production experience delivering machine learning and decisioning solutions Hands-on approach, designing in code and infrastructure as code as readily as in diagrams Ability to explain complex technical choices clearly to non-technical decision-makers Responsibilities: Define and own the end-to-end target architecture, including application services, data platform, integration, identity and security, environments, and release pipeline Lead provider and service selection, and justify build-versus-configure decisions based on cost, risk, and longevity Design the machine learning and automated decision-making layer, including pipelines, model lifecycle, and decisioning services with appropriate guardrails and human-in-the-loop controls Provide hands-on technical leadership during delivery, including reference patterns, infrastructure-as-code standards, design reviews, and code reviews Architect for operational readiness from the start, including FinOps, observability, security, scalability, and clean handover into the product team Technologies: AWS Architect Cloud ERP GCP Machine Learning Security AI More: We are a long-established, market-leading UK manufacturer building a new business system from the ground up rather than implementing another ERP.
