We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Technical Supervisor to ensure all electrical work adheres to the highest safety and technical standards, including full NICEIC compliance. This role requires a blend of technical expertise, strong supervisory skills, and a thorough understanding of regulatory requirements.
This role is based at our Warrington headquarters.
Role Summary
NICEIC Compliance & Certification: Act as the appointed NICEIC QS, managing accreditation, validating certifications, ensuring regulatory compliance, and preparing for audits.
Technical Supervision & Quality Control: Oversee and inspect all electrical work for compliance with IET Wiring Regulations BS7671 and NICEIC standards. Provide technical support, conduct post-audits, and ensure quality controls are implemented. Maintain calibrated test equipment.
Training & Development: Assess staff competence, deliver electrical training, and ensure ongoing professional development.
Reporting & Documentation: Produce compliance reports, track legislative changes, and document quality inspections.
Health & Safety: Ensure adherence to all health and safety regulations related to electrical work.

8am - 5pm
Qualifications & Experience
Must be NICEIC qualified or meet criteria to achieve certification.
NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation (or equivalent). 18th Edition IET Wiring Regulations (BS 7671:2018). C&G 2391-52 (or equivalent) in Electrical Inspection and Testing, or willingness to obtain.
Minimum 2 years as a full-time supervisor and 3 years as an Electrician, preferably with commercial electrical installations, testing, and inspecting. Previous NICEIC QS experience is highly desirable.
In-depth knowledge of BS7671, NICEIC standards, electrical design, maintenance, verification, and inspection/testing. Proficient in fault-finding and repairs.
Excellent written and verbal communication, strong relationship management skills.
Highly organized, responsive, effective planner, and skilled in problem-solving.
Competent in Microsoft Office and NICEIC software.
