We're looking for someone who enjoys taking ownership, solving problems, and directly contributing to business performance. Joining a well-established and expanding scaffolding contractor, you will work closely with the Managing Director and take full responsibility for the commercial lifecycle, from project tendering and cost management through to final account settlement.
You will lead estimating, drive business development, and customer growth, this includes identifying new opportunities, strengthening client relationships, securing profitable work, managing margins, and ensuring strong commercial control across multiple live projects.

Key Responsibilities
* Driving business development and securing new clients
* Growing and strengthening existing customer relationships
* Managing estimating and tender submissions
* Ensuring accurate pricing and margin control
* Negotiating contracts, variations and commercial terms
* Overseeing commercial performance across all projects
* Supporting long-term commercial strategy and expansion plans
Skills & Experience
* At least 2 years' experience in a Quantity Surveyor or Commercial Manager position within scaffolding or the wider construction industry.
* Demonstrable experience in preparing and submitting accurate quotations.
* Strong analytical skills with precise attention to figures and confident use of IT software
* Excellent communication and negotiation skills
* Highly organised, proactive, and comfortable working independently
Salary and Benefits
* £50k - £60k DOE
* Monthly bonus scheme

* Hybrid working is permitted for up to two set days per week, following completion of all training.
