Key Responsibilities
Personal Care
Assist service users with personal hygiene, washing, dressing, continence care, and grooming.
Support with mobility, transfers, and safe use of equipment (hoists, wheelchairs, etc.).
Encourage independence while providing necessary support.
Healthcare Support
Observe, monitor, and record service users’ physical and emotional well-being.
Assist with basic clinical tasks under supervision (e.g., taking vital signs, supporting medication prompts).
Report any changes in condition to senior staff promptly.
Daily Living Support
Help with meal preparation, feeding assistance, and encouraging healthy nutrition.
Support with household tasks such as cleaning, laundry, and maintaining a safe environment.
Escort individuals to appointments, community activities, or social engagements.
Documentation & Communication
Maintain accurate and confidential care records.
Communicate effectively with colleagues, families, and external professionals.
Follow all policies, safeguarding procedures, and care plans.
Teamwork & Professionalism
Work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
Demonstrate empathy, patience, and a person-centred approach.
Participate in training, supervision, and ongoing development
