Operations Manager - Custody and Community
The Growth Company (GC) is hiring a Operations Manager Custody and Community for the West Yorkshire area.
To lead a team of Service Managers to deliver Key Performance Indicators and interventions for participants.
Currently, all applications are considered as expressions of interest as funding is subject to contract award.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Ensure the successful delivery of contracts for the commissioners.
2. Deliver the required volume of interventions.
3. Achieve contractual Key Performance Indicators and interventions for the specified number of participants within the required hours and complexity.
4. Lead and support a team of Service Managers to drive high levels of contractual performance and compliance.
5. Take full responsibility for the P&L account results for the contract portfolio.
6. Deliver high-quality and compliant services to service users, in collaboration with the GC Compliance team and the Curriculum and Quality Improvement Manager.
7. Ensure services are delivered with integrity and probity.
About You:
8. Effective leader with strong staff management skills.
9. Confident presenter to commissioners and stakeholders.
10. Proficient in producing high-standard written reports.
11. Skilled in interpreting and producing financial information, such as Profit & Loss accounts.
12. Fluent user of ICT.
13. Experience and knowledge of the Justice sector in a Custody environment.
Skills Required:
14. Must have experience leading and supporting a team of Service Managers within prisons and the community justice sector.
15. Proven track record in managing teams within various sectors.
16. Budget management responsibility.
17. Demonstrated success in achieving tangible performance results.
18. In-depth understanding of contract interventions/services.
19. Working knowledge of people management principles and employment law.
20. Strong grasp of financial information.
Must have experience leading and supporting a team of Service Managers within prisons and the community justice sector.
