Director - Building Surveying
We’re working with a leading global consultancy that is growing its Building Surveying practice in Glasgow. This is a genuine opportunity for a Chartered Building Surveyor (MRICS) who is looking to step up to associate or director level.
Base pay range
Glasgow | Consultancy | £80k + Package
Responsibilities
* Delivering the full suite of building surveying services (surveys, dilapidations, party wall, defect analysis, contract admin, planned maintenance programmes, etc.)
* Managing projects from feasibility and design right through to construction, handover and post‑completion reviews.
* Building strong client relationships and ensuring the highest standard of service.
* Helping grow the business locally and contributing to the direction of the wider national practice.
Qualifications
* MRICS qualified, ideally 7+ years PQE (though strong candidates on either side will be considered).
* Solid knowledge of construction methods, procurement and legislation.
* Strong communication, problem‑solving and organisational skills.
* Commercially minded with the ability to deliver projects profitably.
* Confident with clients and keen to help win repeat business.
