- Up to £40,000 As part of continued growth, our client is seeking a Freight Account Manager to join the team.
This role requires an entrepreneurial mindset, self-management, and a strong focus on generating new business.
You will be the main point of contact for prospective and existing clients and will be responsible for converting quotes into profitable business.

- Monday to Friday Job type: Permanent What's on Offer: Unique, clear, and uncapped bonus structure Company pension scheme 28 days holiday (including statutory) Key Responsibilities: Proactively seek, develop, and secure new business opportunities Make outbound telesales calls and generate leads Conduct cold calling to identify potential clients Maintain and grow existing customer accounts, promoting up-sell opportunities Manage new accounts with the aim of becoming the sole logistics supplier Provide quotations and oversee operational aspects of Sea, Air, and European Road freight Build a strong client base and maintain long-term relationships Promote the company's brand and deliver exceptional customer service Conduct regular client check-ins and account reviews Candidate Requirements: Experience in sales or operations within Air & Sea freight (Must have) Must have right to work (No sponsorship on offer) Strong commercial acumen and customer service orientation Highly self-motivated with an entrepreneurial approach Confident communicator with excellent interpersonal skills Able to build and manage a sales pipeline independently Comfortable working autonomously and managing time effectively Excellent verbal and written communication skills Driven and enthusiastic with a passion for providing client solutions Character and cultural fit are as important as experience
