Warehouse Operative - Temp to PermLocation: Cardiff (Ocean Way)Salary: £12.70 per hourWork Hours: Monday to Friday 7am to 4pm (3:30pm finish on Fridays)Pertemps is proud to be recruiting on behalf of our client, a leading name in glass manufacturing and distribution. We are currently seeking a reliable and hardworking Warehouse Operative to join their busy Cardiff team on a temporary-to-permanent basis.Role Overview:As a Warehouse Operative, you will be responsible for supporting the day-to-day operations within the warehouse, ensuring goods are received, stored, and dispatched efficiently and safely.Key Responsibilities:
* Loading and unloading deliveries
* Picking and packing customer orders
* Handling glass products with care
* General warehouse duties including cleaning and stock control
* Ensuring health and safety procedures are always followed
Key Skills and Experience
* Previous warehouse experience preferred
* Good level of physical fitness (manual handling required)
* Attention to detail and strong work ethic
* Forklift license desirable but not essential
* Must be reliable and punctual
