About the Role
We are seeking dedicated, enthusiastic, and hardworking support workers to join our expanding team within the Edinburgh Mental Health Service. If you are passionate about making a real difference in the lives of adults with a mental health diagnosis this is the role for you.
This role is outreach and involves lone working both within both people’s homes and out in the community, providing hands-on support to help individuals achieve their goals and live as independently as possible.
We welcome candidates who are eager to develop their skills, gain valuable experience in social care, and thrive in a supportive, learning-focused environment.
Previous experience in a support role is desirable but not essential as full training and support will be given.
Most importantly, we are looking for people who share our values, are kind, compassionate, and are committed to creating positive, lasting impact for the people we support
Key Responsibilities:
1. Provide practical and emotional support that positively impacts health and wellbeing
2. Assist in developing and implementing support plans
3. Deliver support with daily living, personal care, tenancy needs, and medication

11. This role involves shift work, including evenings, weekends, and sleepovers
12. PVG Scheme membership and SSSC registration (or willingness to register) are mandatory
