The Role: We are seeking a versatile and resilient SEN Teaching Assistant to join our dedicated team within our on-site Alternative Provision. This is a unique opportunity to work across our all-through Academy, supporting pupils of both primary and secondary age. You will work with children who have a diverse range of cognitive, behavioural, and physical needs, providing the appropriate level of challenge and care to ensure they can succeed both academically and socially. Key Responsibilities: Provide 1:1 and small group support to pupils within our Alternative Provision. Support pupils with a wide spectrum of needs, including cognitive delays, physical disabilities, and behavioural challenges. Promote resilience in learners, helping them navigate a broad and ambitious curriculum. Foster an environment of respect and integrity, ensuring all students feel safe and included. Work collaboratively across all phases (Primary and Secondary) to provide consistency for our learners. Qualifications: Ideally a qualified Level 2/3 Teaching Assistant, a specialist SEN TA, or possess significant experience in a similar care-based setting. Experience: Essential experience working with SEN needs (Cognitive, Behavioural, and Physical). Skills: The ability to provide a "nurture-first" approach while maintaining high academic and social expectations.
