Ward 23 at Sherwood Forest Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust is a dynamic 23-bedded unit providing exceptional Coronary Care to patients with a wide range of acute cardiac conditions, including Arrhythmias, Heart Failure, and other coronary syndromes.
Responsibilities
* Assist the nursing team to deliver safe, effective, and compassionate care.
* Support admission of patients directly from A&E and the Cardiac Catheter Suite.
* Gain experience in pre- and post-procedural care including angiography, angioplasty, and cardiac device implantation.
* Maintain patient hygiene and support clinical tasks delegated by Registered Nurses.
* Help ensure the ward remains a safe and welcoming environment for patients and visitors.
