Responsibilities as a Subject Specialist: Plan and deliver high-quality, engaging lessons in your subject area. Monitor and assess pupils’ progress, providing constructive feedback. Support the development of students’ knowledge, skills, and confidence. Maintain a safe, inclusive, and positive classroom environment. Collaborate effectively with teaching staff, parents, and school leadership. Requirements for Subject Specialist: Relevant teaching experience or qualifications in your subject area. Strong communication, organisational, and classroom management skills. Ability to differentiate lessons to meet all students’ needs. An enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service (or willingness to apply). A full, up-to-date CV with explanations for any gaps in employment in the last 10 years.
