The Role
As a Software Engineer, you’ll play a key role in designing, developing, and enhancing the software that powers the world‑class industrial products. You will:
* Develop clean, maintainable, well‑structured software using best‑practice coding standards
* Collaborate closely with colleagues across Software, Technology, Production, and our international offices
* Contribute throughout the full product development lifecycle—from concept and prototype to verification and launch
* Identify new research and innovation opportunities and help turn these into real solutions
* Produce clear requirements documentation and technical specifications
* Support the smooth transition of new software projects into full-scale production
* Ensure all work aligns with business strategy and customer expectations
Requirements
* C# development experience in a commercial environment
* A proactive, detail‑oriented approach to identifying and solving problems
* Strong engineering fundamentals and the ability to work in a multidisciplinary team
* 3+ years’ commercial software development experience
* HND/Degree in Software Engineering or related field
* Interest in DevOps tools (TeamCity, Azure DevOps, etc.)
* Experience with SQL Server, PostgreSQL or SQLite
* Familiarity with Git and modern version control workflows
* Understanding of domain‑driven design, design patterns and development best practices
* Ability to create clear technical documentation
* Embedded development in C++ or C (Linux)
* Occasional international travel availability
* Strong communication skills, including with customers and suppliers
