Overview
St Rose's provision is from 2 to 25 years; a nursery, a non-maintained special school for students from 5 to 19 and St Martin’s an independent specialist college for students from 19 to 25. Our students have physical and sensory disabilities, learning and communication difficulties and complex health needs.
Responsibilities
* Provide personal care, assist with eating and drinking, and support with moving and handling for students.
* Work closely with other care professionals to create a safe and supportive environment that promotes the independence and dignity of our students.
* Join a variety of part-time care assistant positions with shifts that include evenings and weekends; some waking night work is also required.
Qualifications and requirements
* A level 3 qualification in health and social care is required. If you do not already have this qualification, you will need to commence the course once you have joined us.
* Good understanding and use of written and spoken English.
* Enhanced DBS check and two satisfactory references prior to taking up the post.
* Not available for sponsorship.
