Army Reserve training SME and secondary adviser to the XO. Assist SMI (Regular) and XO in scheduling, planning, coordinating and assuring all training activity. Contribute to the validation of training activities, monitoring instructional standards and advising on progression towards Certificate of Efficiency. Assist the SMI with coordination of resource requirements, course trained personnel and training area bookings for all training activity. Lead on the identification, development and support of ARes military skills competitions in the UK and overseas. Deputise for the SMI (and occasionally the RSM) during times of absence. Oversee the development of potential JNCOs and coaching and education of individuals for ALDP courses. Act as the Senior ARes (Other Ranks) and spokesperson on behalf of the ARes community
