Overview
Radis Community Care has an opportunity for a part-time Support Worker/Companion for our Supported Living Service, in Halifax and surrounding areas of Kirklees and Calderdale.
Role details
The lady we support is in her 40s and suffers with arthritis. She enjoys being out in the community and attending activities such as swimming, Pilates, and shopping. She has a great sense of humour and is looking for a companion to share these positive experiences with.
A full clean driving licence is needed to support the lady and to drive her automatic car, although your own vehicle is not required.
We provide support for daily living skills and help with socialisation, accessing the community, and attending appointments. We recognise each person as an individual and provide a unique service which is person-centred and tailored to their needs. The role promotes the individual's independence, choice, dignity, and respect by delivering the best standards of support.
Shifts: 22 hours over the week, including various shifts and alternate weekends.
Note: At this present time, we are unable to consider Sponsorship for this role.
