The System Resilience Officer will support the System Resilience and DR Manager and co-ordinate oversight activities of suppliers to ensure the agreed Disaster Recovery (DR) standards across the NS&I IT estate. This will help ensure the impacts of an outage, disaster, or cyber-attack affecting IT systems can be recovered in a timely manner.
The role holder will work with the System Resilience and DR Manager and Head of IT Services to assist IT DR testing on an annual basis and the continued testing of DR on infrastructure and application resilience across suppliers. The IT services operations department is an agile team and this role will also support colleagues to provide great service, to staff & customers across the business in Retail, B2B and corporate operations.
Formal qualifications in Information Technology, Computer Science, or proven experience in the field of Disaster Recovery and system resilience.
Experience in Disaster Recovery Planning and implementation, preferably in a regulated industry.

Understanding of the concepts of cloud computing in AWS & Azure platforms.
Understanding of resilience and DR capabilities in AWS & Azure Platforms.
Understanding of ITIL v4 framework and best practices.
Formal qualifications in Information Technology, Computer Science, or proven experience in the field of Disaster Recovery and system resilience.
Managing a Quality Service
Understanding of the concepts of cloud computing in AWS & Azure platforms.
