About the role
We have an exciting opportunity to join our Team in Haydock as a Trainee Stores Person, you will be primarily responsible for the receipt of goods into the business. In the job you will be trained with handling of materials using a forklift.
As an Trainee Stores Person you will
Unloading and Loading vehicles/trucks with the forklift trucks and warehouse crane, relocating/moving goods around the premises. Maintaining stock inventory and ordering new stock in when required. Assisting planning department with getting materials/test equipment ready for jobs. Maintain a clean working area across the premises at all times. Maintaining a log of pumps & generators issued out and you will be required to carry out small maintenance tasks.
About you
You'll working as part of a team and it will be fast paced, for this we require you to have good organisational skills. We require GCSE Maths and English and experience working within a commercial premises (desirable)
You will need a Forklift Truck Licence and a Full UK Driving License for this role
