Role Definition : To carry out all activities and roles within the Packing area in line with individual training matrix and as requested by the Packing Supervisor. To ensure that all product is packed to meet customer/company specifications, whilst also maximizing yield and minimizing waste. To ensure all tasks performed are as per training given and safe working procedures To work to agreed training plan, bringing any skill shortfalls/difficulties to the attention of the Packing Supervisor. Ensure understanding of expected standards and targets before commencing any task. To carry out all assigned tasks in accordance with company policies and procedures, particularly with regard to H&S and Food Safety. To ensure that where PPE is provided for any of the above tasks, that it is correctly worn/used, maintained and any defects reported to the relevant key colleagues. To have a flexible approach to workloads/hours to ensure agreed throughput and yield targets are met. To report any problems regarding equipment/machinery to Boning Hall management. To be a valued member of the team and have consideration for all colleagues To participate in training in accordance with your training plan To adhere to current legislation and Company hygiene policies with regards to safe food production and hygiene at all times To comply with Health & Safety rules, to prevent/minimise the risk of accidents. To carry out all assigned tasks in accordance with company policies and procedures, particularly with regard to Health and Safety and Food Safety at all times To ensure that you comply with the Company Health and Safety policy at all times Any other duties as required Role requirements : Resilience Never gives up. The ideal candidate will have previous experience in a similar type of role and be suited to working in a fast paced environment. The candidate should have good interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to multi-task. Previous production experience in a food factory facility would be beneficial. Hours of work: Monday to Friday, start at 06.00am till finish. Pay rate: £12.70 per hour
