The Role
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Finance Accounting Executive to join our Finance team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the sales ledger, ensuring accurate and timely processing of invoices, efficient collection of outstanding payments, and supporting the wider finance team with reporting and administrative duties. This role is crucial to maintaining strong financial controls and supporting the company's cash flow.
Your responsibilities will include:
· Process and issue sales invoices in a timely and accurate manner.
· Proactively chase outstanding payments and follow up on overdue accounts.
· Post and allocate payments received to the correct customer accounts.
· Prepare and distribute customer statements and reports.
· Assist with month-end and year-end financial closing processes.
· Liaise with customers and internal departments to resolve invoice queries promptly.
· Ensure compliance with company policies and financial regulations.
· Provide support to the finance team with additional administrative duties as required.
Skills & Qualifications
· Strong numerical and analytical skills.
· Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in data entry.
· Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build good working relationships.
· Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.
· Highly organized with effective time management skills.
· Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook); knowledge of accounting software is desirable.
· 2+ years of experience in an accounting or finance role
