Salary: £26,350 - £30,050 (depending on experience and qualifications)
Earnings: £31,525 - £35,225 (based on 10 sleep-ins per month)
Hours: 40.5 per week plus sleep-ins (paid at £45 per night)
Shift Pattern: 1 shift on, 2 shifts off (Shifts start at 7:30 am, finish at 11 pm followed by a sleep-in; next shift starts at 7:30 am and finishes at 8 am)
Hexagon Care Services is a large private residential childcare provider with over 50 Children’s Homes, 5 Crisis Intervention services, and 14 schools across England.
We are seeking to appoint a Residential Support Worker for our children’s home. This role offers an opportunity to join a well-established team committed to providing the best support for children in care.
Responsibilities include supporting young people with daily tasks, managing challenging behaviours, and engaging in activities that promote their well-being. The role involves shift work, including sleep-ins, with a focus on creating a safe and supportive environment.
Experience in a residential setting is advantageous but not essential. The role requires working on a rolling rota covering evenings, weekends, and holidays.
