The Project Finance Senior role is part of a team of 8, reporting to the Project Finance Manager. The ideal candidate should have a flexible attitude to meet business demands. As part of the team, working from a shared ticket hub, you will support project setups, cost budgeting, and sales invoicing. You will assist the Project Finance Manager in achieving department objectives. Success in this role is measured by accurate invoicing and meeting revenue recognition targets within deadlines.

Performance Management Responsibilities
1. Conduct regular 1-to-1 meetings, appraisals, and mid-year reviews.
2. Identify training needs and opportunities for team development.
3. Address underperformance in collaboration with the Project Finance Manager.
4. Approve annual leave and provide constructive feedback.
5. Ensure team welfare and wellbeing, communicate company news, and promote equality.
6. Act as the first contact for team queries.
7. Check and approve timesheets, expenses, and overtime within delegated authority.
8. Manage absence, liaising with payroll and monitoring levels, taking corrective actions as needed.
9. Stay informed on management techniques, manage workload, delegate tasks, and support the wider business.
10. Train and mentor team members, including Project Finance Senior and Assistants.
On an Oracle-based system, you will set up projects, manage budgets, and process sales invoices in line with company policies, ensuring accuracy and adherence to authority and risk policies. You will monitor invoice drafts, expedite invoicing via various communication channels, and serve as a contact point for Project Managers regarding project setup, budgets, and sales invoices.
Your responsibilities include fee, invoice, and cost reconciliations, conducting monthly data accuracy checks, supporting department tasks such as project reporting, and handling ad hoc duties as required. You will produce reports, assist with accounts receivable queries, and support the annual audit process. Additionally, you will complete daily CSR reports and demonstrate leadership by example.
Key skills include workload management, independence, accuracy, computer literacy (especially Excel), understanding of project accounting, revenue recognition, and project forecasting. Strong communication skills are essential for explaining and discussing financial matters. Flexibility with working hours is expected to accommodate business needs.
