Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Bar Manager to oversee our bar operations, ensuring exceptional service and a vibrant atmosphere for our guests. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in hospitality, with proven leadership skills and a passion for food and beverage management. This role requires a hands-on approach to managing daily operations, staff supervision, and maintaining high standards of food safety and quality.
Responsibilities
* Manage daily bar operations, ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction through excellent service.
* Create menus including cocktail, preps and batches
* Supervise and train bar staff, fostering a positive team environment and encouraging professional development.
* Recruit, train and mentor all bar staff and support the wider team.
* Maintain inventory levels, ordering supplies as necessary to ensure smooth operations.
* Collaborate with kitchen staff to create innovative drink menus that complement the culinary offerings.
* Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations within the bar area.
* Handle customer inquiries and complaints in a professional manner, resolving issues promptly.
* Monitor bar performance metrics and implement strategies for improvement.
* Open/Close the venue
Skills
* Proven experience in a supervisory role within the hospitality or restaurant industry.
* Strong leadership abilities with excellent team management skills.
* Cocktail experience and knowledge in building profitable menus
* Familiarity with food safety regulations and best practices in food production.
* Previous experience in barista roles or hotel environments is advantageous.
* Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written.
* Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
* A passion for hospitality and creating memorable experiences for guests.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: £35,000.00-£42,000.00 per year
