Are you a passionate, energetic and experienced Community Children’s Nurse? An exciting opportunity has become available for a full-time band 7 Senior Children’s Nurse to work within the Bexley and Greenwich Community Children’s Nursing Team and integrated Hospital at Home Team.
The post holder will be a Children’s Nurse with extensive knowledge and experience of working within the community, thus being an exceptional role model and able to demonstrate evidence of up-to-date academic development post-registration.
Responsibilities
* Deputise for the team manager when required.
* Clinically lead on service projects and developments, including facilitating engagement of the team in change management and service innovations.
* Work within the Community Children’s Nursing Team and integrated Hospital at Home Team to deliver high-quality, child-centered nursing care.
* Provide seven-day service coverage from 08:00 to 20:30, with 24-hour on-call provision for children & young people requiring end-of-life care at home.
Qualifications
* Registered Children’s Nurse with extensive experience in community nursing.
* Academic qualifications as set out in the person specification.
