An interesting and varied part time vacancy (26 hours) has become available for an innovative and dynamic Band 6 Mental Health Nurse Practitioner to work across for the Older Adult CMHT in Lancaster and Morecambe. The successful candidate will have sound clinical and leadership skills, be enthusiastic about the role and its development and be driven to provide excellent mental health services to the local older adult population Ideally applicants should have experience of working with older adults with mental health needs and the ability to lead on assessment and provide treatment plans. They should also have excellent communication skills. The role will involve working within a MDT to support older adult service users on the dementia diagnostic pathway and in the community to remain at home and prevent hospital admission.
