Supported by our senior management team, you will use a range of marketing tools to communicate the exciting work of the charity. You’ll take responsibility for handling digital content creation for our website, social media channels, and newsletters, and report on their effectiveness. Additionally, you will organise print, photography, and videography to promote our work.
You’ll be creative in ensuring our communication channels reach the right audiences for a diverse range of projects across different artforms.
We’re looking for someone with drive to develop their career in the arts, not just as a marketing professional but as someone passionate about working for a Bedford charity. We seek someone with energy; keen to learn, experiment, and help us learn from what you can bring to the team.
We’re looking for someone with experience in marketing within a relevant sector, confident in developing and executing marketing campaigns across different channels.
You’ll be efficient at organising your own workload and managing competing priorities. You’ll be a highly effective communicator and a team player – excited about joining a small organisation with a close-knit team of passionate collaborators dedicated to reaching people through our work.
We actively encourage people from diverse backgrounds with different experiences, skills, and stories to join us and influence our working practices. We are particularly keen to hear from individuals from under-represented backgrounds, including people from UK minority ethnic backgrounds, and candidates who self-identify as disabled, neurodivergent, male, non-binary, trans, or LGBTQ+.
Bedford Creative Arts is an arts charity that has been producing socially-engaged arts projects for 40 years, exploring issues of social justice, challenging the status quo, and raising questions that can influence practice and policy-making. We are a National Portfolio Organisation of Arts Council England, delivering an ambitious programme of commissions for, by, and with communities across Bedfordshire.
For an informal and confidential conversation about the role, please email or call Bex Foskett at 01234 818670, or email bexf@bedfordcreativearts.org.uk.
