We have an exciting opportunity for a friendly and reliable Saturday Retail Sales Advisor to join the team at our PaintWell store in Tunbridge Wells. Providing exceptional service to customers in branch, you will play a vital part in helping us serve customers and keep the branch running smoothly. Experience with our products is not required; we provide full training for the right candidate.
Located on Lamberts Road, our Tunbridge Wells PaintWell store serves local homeowners and tradespeople with a broad range of decorating materials, including trade and designer paints. The store is part of the Brewers Group, a family‑owned business with over 120 years in the industry and more than 250 stores nationwide. Opening hours are Monday to Friday 7:00am‑5:00pm and Saturday 8:00am‑12:00pm (saturday hours will change to 8:00am‑5:00pm on 1st May 2026).

Responsibilities
* Provide exceptional service to customers in the branch, maintaining the store’s reputation for quality and service.
* Use product knowledge to recommend and help customers select the best product for their needs.
* Mix paint for customers, process orders, and request stock from the branch network.
* Develop sales of the company product ranges.
* Build relationships with customers to fully understand their needs and provide a comprehensive service.
* Promote seasonal and special items, including merchandising goods in-store to increase visibility and sales.
* Assist with stock maintenance: unload deliveries, store promptly, and ensure stock is distributed throughout the store.

Qualifications
* Exceptional customer service and communication skills, with the ability to translate customer requirements into product recommendations.
* Approachable, friendly personality – happy to help both customers and colleagues.
* Enjoys working and supporting a team, but also reliable when working independently.
* Keen to learn, develop skills, and progress within the industry.
* Previous retail experience advantageous but not essential; full training will be provided to the right candidate.
Additional Requirements
We are opening on four selected bank holidays each year. Colleagues in this role will be required to work on bank holidays as part of the branch rota. Bank holiday shifts will be shared fairly, and we will aim to ensure that no individual works every bank holiday. Please confirm that you are able to meet this requirement as part of your application.
