Burch Recruitment is proud to be supporting our client in finding an experienced Insurance Administrator to manage the companys insurance processes. This is a fantastic opportunity to take ownership of claims handling, reporting, and compliance, ensuring accuracy and effective communication across the business, insurers, and external partners.
About the Role
As an Insurance Administrator, youll play a crucial role in managing insurance claims, monitoring data, and ensuring risk is minimised through accurate reporting and effective use of telematics. Youll be responsible for coordinating with drivers, insurers, and brokers, while identifying cost-saving opportunities and ensuring compliance with internal processes.
Key Responsibilities
Ensure all accidents are reported within 48 hours on the insurance portal
Raise invoices within 24 hours
Check vehicle cameras daily and ensure footage is reviewed as needed
Analyse and act upon driving behaviour data from telematics systems
Regularly review speeding offences, highlight high-risk drivers, and take necessary action
Respond promptly to all insurance-related communications
Maintain regular contact with insurance brokers and update records on outstanding claims
Ensure accurate documentation and reporting on all insurance matters
Identify and recommend cost-saving opportunities
Complete administrative tasks as required
Perform spot checks on the vehicle fleet to ensure compliance and data accuracy
Read telematics data and action findings
Raise damage bills and insurance excesses

Excellent communication, including active listening and clear verbal/written communication
Flexibility to support varying shift patterns and business hours
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and data analysis
