Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Nursery Practitioners to join our team. Ideal candidates will have a passion for childcare and early childhood education, providing a safe and nurturing environment for children. As a Nursery Practitioner, you will play a crucial role in the development and well being of the children in your care, fostering their growth through engaging activities and positive interactions. You must have a good imagination, spark for curiosity and want to make a difference. A knowledge of SEND would be an advantage but positive and resilient can do attitude, with a desire to support children and develop own practices is a must. Full and part time positions available between the hours of, Mon-Fri.
Responsibilities
* Provide high-quality childcare in a nursery setting, ensuring the safety and well being of all children.
* Plan and implement age-appropriate activities that promote learning and development in line with early years frameworks.
* Communicate effectively with children, parents, and colleagues to build strong relationships providing updates on children's progress.
* Manage daily routines, including meal times, and play sessions, ensuring a structured environment.
* Observe and assess children's development, documenting their progress and identifying any areas for additional support.
* Collaborate with other staff members to create a positive team environment that encourages leadership and shared responsibilities.
* Maintain cleanliness and organisation within the nursery space to create an inviting atmosphere for children.
Requirements
* Relevant qualifications in Early Childhood Education or Childcare are essential. minimum level 3 early years, level 2 may be considered.
* Previous experience working with children in a nursery or similar setting.
* Strong communication skills in English, both verbal and written, to effectively interact with children and parents.
* Ability to manage multiple tasks while maintaining a calm demeanor in a busy environment.
* A genuine drive to support children's learning and development through engaging activities.
* Leadership qualities that inspire teamwork and collaboration among staff members Working as part of a team or on own initiative.
* A commitment to safeguarding children's welfare at all times.
* Willingness to complete training and develop skills.
* Complete necessary training in safeguarding, first aid and special educational needs.
* good imagination and ability to engage with others to create a fun and supportive environment.
* Can do attitude, with a desire to inspire and develop yourself and others.
