We are partnering with a well-established manufacturing business to appoint an Environmental & Sustainability Manager. This is a key leadership role, responsible for embedding environmental best practice across operations while supporting the business’s long-term sustainability and compliance objectives. The successful candidate will act as the site and group subject-matter expert on environmental management, regulatory compliance, and sustainability strategy, working closely with operations, engineering, supply chain, and senior leadership Key Responsibilities Lead and maintain ISO 14001 Environmental Management Systems across manufacturing sites Ensure compliance with all environmental legislation, permits, and regulatory requirements Act as the primary point of contact for regulators, auditors, and external stakeholders Monitor and report on emissions, waste, water usage, and environmental performance metrics Lead internal and external environmental audits and manage corrective actions Develop and implement the company’s environmental and sustainability strategy aligned to business goals Drive initiatives to reduce carbon footprint, energy consumption, waste, and resource usage Support carbon reporting, life-cycle assessments, and ESG data requirements Champion continuous improvement projects that deliver measurable environmental and commercial benefits Support new product introductions with sustainability and complianc...
