HiQ Tyres & Autocare has an exciting new opportunity for a Centre Manager to join the team in our Stamford Centre. The role is offered on a full-time permanent basis, Monday – Friday 8:30am – 5:30pm – half a day finish on a Saturday. Salary negotiable depending on experience. HiQ Tyres & Autocare is owned by Goodyear.
What you will be doing as a Centre Manager
* Lead, manage, and motivate a team of automotive technical staff, ensuring they are adequately resourced and skilled to meet company and customer objectives.
* Foster a high-performance, harmonized culture where achievements are celebrated, and underperformance is effectively managed.
* Ensure that operational performance consistently meets company and customer KPIs (Key Performance Indicators) and SLAs (Service Level Agreements).
* Oversee stores costs and margins, driving improvements where necessary.
* Maximise profit and turnover through effective resource management and operational excellence.
* Set clear objectives for each department, with planning and execution to ensure targets are met efficiently and effectively.
* Develop and deliver strategies that align with the Company's broader objectives, ensuring business goals are consistently achieved.
* Support the Company in achieving consistently high levels of customer satisfaction and building strong customer relationships.
* Plan and coordinate key merchandising activities, ensuring robust stock management routines are in place.
What you will need
* Proven experience in managing technical automotive teams in a fast-paced environment.
* Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a diverse team.
* Solid understanding of operational performance management and KPIs.
* Experience in managing costs, margins, and maximising profitability.
* Strong strategic thinking and project management skills.
* Excellent communication and relationship-building skills with customers and internal stakeholders.
* Ability to plan, execute, and ensure operational efficiency across multiple departments.
