Lecturers Foundation Studies
KittyLili Designs is seeking to appoint Lecturers to plan and deliver across a range of courses within Foundation Studies, with a particular focus on Access to FE programmes. The successful candidate will play an active role in developing learners’ skills for independence and preparing them for employment or further study, and will also be involved in the development of the programmes within the area.
Responsibilities
* Plan and deliver teaching across Foundation Studies courses, including Functional Skills.
* Develop and assess learners’ learning outcomes, ensuring good practice in this area.
* Support learners’ development of independence skills, preparing them for employment or further study.
* Collaborate with colleagues to develop and review course content and assessment strategies.
Qualifications
* Degree in a relevant subject area (or minimum Level 3 qualification with substantial teaching experience in Foundation).
* Experience teaching within the Foundation Learning area, including Functional Skills.
* Up-to-date knowledge of good practice in this area; an A Level 5 teaching qualification recognised by the FE sector would be an advantage.

Working Location
Posts will initially be based at Uxbridge Campus, but in time it is anticipated you will also be required to work at Barra Hall, Hayes.
Salary and Working Hours
Salary range £32,455 – £45,260 per annum pro rata for part-time posts. 1 full-time post and 1 permanent part-time post 21.6 hours per week (3 days).
