Transport Clerk – CEVA Logistics, Plunkett & Graver, P.C. (Dartford, England)
Role Overview
Our transport operation in Dartford is looking for a Transport Clerk to manage transport administration activities, ensuring efficiency and customer excellence.
Responsibilities
* Accurately manage traffic administration office duties in accordance with legislation and operational work instructions.
* Contribute to all contractual KPIs, with emphasis on POD accuracy, fleet utilisation and cost control.
* Complete all administrative and IT functions in line with company policy, procedures and client requirements.
* Produce reports as requested by contract supervisors and/or managers.
* Handle incoming/outgoing telephone calls politely and confidently, using initiative to resolve situations.
* Ensure all Lean requirements are met, including 5S.
* Maintain high standards of Health & Safety, cleanliness and tidiness throughout the working environment.
* Attend any developmental training as required in compliance with the Companies commitment to Investors in People Standard.
Qualifications & Experience
* Strong organisational skills and previous experience in a fast‑paced transport office environment.
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
* Client‑focused approach.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
* Desirable: experience in Transport Management Systems and understanding of Microsoft packages.
