De Vere Wokefield Estate in Reading is recruiting an Assistant Night Manager to join the team. This role is pivotal in overseeing the nightly hotel operation, ensuring the safety and comfort of our guests, and maintaining our high standards of service.
Key responsibilities
* Look after guests and the hotel between 10.30pm and 7am, 5 nights out of 7 each week.
* Complete the night audit.
* Check guests in and out of the hotel as required.
* Complete hotel walkarounds throughout the night ensuring security and safety.
* Deal with any issues or complaints occurring overnight.
* Work on duty with at least one other member of the nights team; events team members often on site until the early hours of the morning.
Qualifications & Desired experience
* Experience of working during night hours and suitability for your lifestyle.
* Hospitality experience or experience in a guest‑focused service role.
* Enjoy talking to people and delivering high standards of service.
* Confident working at night in a large hotel with one other colleague and taking responsibility for guests’ health & safety.
