We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Care Assistant to join our team. Responsibilities
* Assist clients with personal care tasks, including bathing, dressing, and grooming.
* Support clients in daily living activities such as meal preparation, medication management, and mobility assistance.
* Communicate effectively with clients, their families, and healthcare professionals to ensure a high standard of care.
* Maintain accurate records of client progress and any changes in their condition as per care plans.
* Drive clients to appointments or social activities as required.
* Engage clients in social activities to enhance their quality of life and emotional well-being.
* Follow health and safety guidelines to maintain a safe environment for both clients and staff.
Requirements
* Previous experience in home care or a care home setting is desirable but not essential.
* Strong communication skills in English are required for effective interaction with clients and team members.
* Basic IT skills for maintaining records and communicating with the team.
* A valid driving licence is preferred for transporting clients when necessary.
* Ability to follow care plans accurately and adapt to the individual needs of clients.
* A compassionate nature with a genuine desire to help others is essential for this role.
