We are currently seeking a Relief Plant Supervisor at our Elsham Concrete & Mortar Plant. We’re looking for a proactive, hands-on person to join our team. As a Supervisor, you’ll have the autonomy to run your own site and play a key role in our concrete production within the area, ensuring the site operates smoothly to meet our local customers' needs.
If successful, you’ll join a regional team and report to the Production Manager. The role involves working 48 hours a week, Monday to Friday, with occasional Saturday mornings. Flexibility is required to meet business demands.
Key Responsibilities
As a Supervisor, your primary task will be batching concrete. Additionally, you will help maintain a clean, tidy, and safe site with support from our team. You’ll also liaise regularly with distribution teams and hauliers to ensure customer needs are met.
Skills, Knowledge, and Expertise
* Experience in a similar role or environment such as asphalt, aggregates, concrete, cement, quarrying, or mining
* Hardworking, reliable, and professional with good communication skills
* NVQ Wheeled Loading Shovel licence is desirable, but full training will be provided
* Experience working in environments where health and safety are paramount
