Overview
An experienced Housing Advice/ Prevention/Homelessness Assessment Officer who can hit the ground running.
Responsibilities
* Be part of the Housing Options Duty Service, completing assessments and carrying out respective prevention/relief work, and managing a varied caseload.
* Carry out homelessness enquiries, casework and draft s184 decision letters.
Qualifications and Experience
* Knowledge of Part VII Housing Act 1996, the Homelessness Reduction Act and other relevant legislation and statute.
* Experience of delivering in a pressurised Housing Options Service and managing the multiple demands and pressures of the service.

* Hillingdon offers flexible working arrangements.
* Candidate should expect to be office based 50% of the time once they have completed an office-based induction period which normally takes two to four weeks to complete depending on level of competency. Office hours are 9.00am - 5.00pm.
