Do you want an opportunity to 'give back' to the local community using your excellent face-to-face customer service and administration skills?
We are recruiting for an Administration Clerk to join our Community Diagnostics Centre (CDC) in the heart of Oxfordshire.
About the Role
Our Administration Clerk provides a friendly, professional, and informative service to all patients who use the CDC. As their first point of contact, you will ensure that all patient needs are attended to, whether on the telephone while arranging their appointments, or onsite as you welcome them in person. You will go above and beyond should sensitive situations arise, managing all scenarios in a sensitive and polite manner.
Your duties will include:
1. Entering patient details on the EPR system as per procedures and ensuring all referrals are clinically triaged (Cerner).
2. Answering calls, addressing queries and concerns with ease.
3. Ensuring patients are given appointment dates and that appropriate action is taken following both patient and CDC cancellations.
4. Liaising with clinicians, nursing staff, managers, and administration.
5. Covering reception duties.
About You
To be considered for this role, you must demonstrate a passion for providing outstanding customer service. Whether you have worked in high-end hospitality, recently finished studying, or are seeking a move into administration, you must be compassionate and understanding. You will have excellent written and verbal communication skills and a flexible approach to work.
Successful candidates will have:
1. Demonstrable experience in customer service, administration, or similar.
2. Competent IT skills.
3. Flexibility to cover team member absences and work shift rotas including weekends.
4. Immaculate attention to detail.
5. Confidence in dealing with the general public face-to-face and over the telephone.
Hours
This is a part-time role, consisting of 22.5 hours per week, with support needed for shifts between 7:30 am and 7:30 pm, 7 days a week. Unsociable hours (weekends and bank holidays) will be paid at an additional rate. You will also be required to cover reception duties.
