You’ll be joining a well‑established local authority based in Clydebank, supporting a busy property maintenance team responsible for the upkeep of housing stock and public buildings across West Dunbartonshire. Your new role
As a Maintenance Plumber, you’ll carry out a range of planned and reactive plumbing works across domestic andmercial properties. You’ll work as part of a multi‑trade team, ensuring all tasks arepleted safely, efficiently, and to a high standard.Key responsibilities include:
1. General plumbing maintenance, repairs, and installations
2. Fault‑finding and diagnosing issues within plumbing systems
3. Hot and cold water system maintenance
4. Bathroom and kitchen plumbing repairs
5. Ensuringpliance with relevant regulations and safety standards
6. Providing excellent customer service to tenants and building users
What you'll need to succeed
7. Time‑served plumber with relevant SVQ/NVQ Level 3 or equivalent
8. Experience in maintenance or social housing environments
9. Strong problem‑solving skills and ability to work independently
10. Full UK driving licence
11. A proactive, reliable, and customer‑focused approach
