Bathgate Academy is seeking to appoint a highly motivated and dynamic Teacher of Design, Engineering & Technology.
The successful candidate will support the school's vision and implement strategies to achieve this. This is a key role at an exciting and challenging time for education and the school.
Bathgate Academy is a comprehensive, non-denominational school serving a cluster of five primary schools.
The school roll is currently 1180 students, which is steadily rising due to local housing developments and increasing community confidence in our educational standards.
Our motivated staff, students, parents, carers, and community have worked hard to improve all aspects of our school.

A relevant teaching qualification and registration with the General Teaching Council for Scotland are essential.
This role is considered Regulated Work with Vulnerable Children and/or Protected Adults under the Protection of Vulnerable Groups (Scotland) Act 2007. Successful candidates will need to join the PVG Scheme or undergo a PVG Scheme Update check before starting employment, with costs covered by the candidate. The fee for Full PVG Scheme Membership is £59; existing members pay £18.
