Key criteria
– Degree in Civil, Structural, Geotechnical or Water Engineering (minimum 2:2 by September 2026)
– Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
– Ability to interpret and produce detailed technical information
– Adaptability and willingness to work across different environments
– Creative and innovative mindset
– Strong communication and teamwork skills
– Interest in infrastructure and large-scale engineering projects
– Willingness to travel across Wales when required
– Right to work in the UK (visa sponsorship not available)
What you’ll be doing
You’ll join a major engineering programme supporting the design, development and delivery of capital projects across Wales.
You’ll gain hands-on experience in:
– Feasibility studies and detailed design work
– Civil and infrastructure engineering projects
– Project coordination and stakeholder management
– Working with contractors and supply chain partners
– Delivering projects to time, cost and quality standards
You’ll be involved in real work from day one — not just observing.
