The purpose of the role is to provide a functional support service in relation to all matters relating to plant & fleet assets both owned and hired by each business. While supporting, establishing, and maintaining the highest standards throughout the company. This position supports the operational management and delivery teams in the successful delivery of projects in line with our business policies and procedures to ensure a smooth, professional, and dynamic delivery. To work proactively with the group management and site teams to establish, maintain and promote safe and efficient operations of the site requirements. This is a full time role, Monday to Friday (07.30-17.30) Key Responsibilities To assist with the implementation, development, and improvement of the Business Management System (BMS) relating to Plant & Fleet. Ensuring health, safety quality and environmental standards are achieved within the business. Co-Ordinate all group Plant & Fleet. Manage and ensure that any break downs are managed through to completion and recorded appropriately. Work closely with operational management to ensure that all plant & fleet is on and off hired in a timely manner. Ensure that all plant & fleet is allocated in preference to 3rd party equipment. Provide operational management team with weekly reports highlighting any plant and fleet discrepancies. Manage all vehicle and plant maintenance including service dates. Manage the company Track NAV system, producing weekly reports as requested. Management of HGV Compliance Undertake Monthly site inspections as per the Operations Directors agreed frequency. Assist the Operational Management team with closing out findings that are captured during inspections and audits. To set the highest standards of professional conduct, including SHEQ compliance whilst performing your duties. To promote the companys vision and values and be safe basics for continuous improvement within the business. Ensure motor insurance database is up to date. Ensure in date certification of HGV's LOLER requirements. To track service dates and ensure compliance in line with LOLER regulations on required inhouse items. Scheduling the maintenance of company owned HGV's. Maintenance of company owned cars and booking in as required. Maintain the tracking of on hired fleet. Personal qualities, experience, and skills (Preferred not essential) IT literate, proficient in Microsoft Office Packages. Competent in creation of reports and tracking. Experience of creating and implementing new processes. Capacity to work effectively whilst remaining calm under pressure. Dedicated to high standards and professionalism with excellent attention to detail. Sound industry knowledge and experience. Organised and process driven. Excellent influencing, people management and communication skills Team player who demonstrates high levels of integrity Level 3 Diploma in Commercial Fleet Vehicle Management or equivalent experience
