Overview
Architecture, Design & Construction Business Consultant. UK-based strategic role with approximately 30% travel within the UK and Europe. Supports SITA’s architecture and design initiatives and Center of Excellence; shapes business development strategy in interior fit-out and construction projects. You will assess opportunities and support proposals across our global footprint and help ensure successful outcomes without direct project delivery.
Key Responsibilities
* Evaluate the complexity and potential value of architectural and interior fit-out project opportunities.
* Support opportunity qualification by providing early-stage assessments and documentation.
* Advise on the feasibility, scope, and strategic fit of large-scale proposals across regions.
* Guide regional business development teams in crafting tailored proposals for infrastructure and interior projects.
* Provide structured guidance on solving architectural and construction-related challenges in client environments.
* Act as a thought leader in our Center of Excellence, contributing best practices and tools for global teams.
* Support bid and proposal preparation with clear, client-focused documentation and input.
* Estimate costs, timelines, and business value based on architectural and fit-out requirements.
* Analyze Autodesk AutoCAD drawings to understand project scope and design needs.
* Coach and support BD teams across different regions without taking on hands-on project delivery.
* Collaborate with stakeholders across product, marketing, and technical units to ensure the proposal reflects client needs.
* Work with regional business development and sales teams to identify and pursue opportunities.
* Meet with senior-level customers, present our solutions, and collaborate with Regional Teams to benefit the Bid / Project.
Experience
* 5-10 years of experience in business consulting or strategy roles related to architecture, design, and interior fit-out projects.
* Demonstrated experience with complex bid or proposal management.
* Proven ability to evaluate large-scale infrastructure or construction opportunities.
* Regional experience in the UK and/or broader European markets.
* Familiarity with tools such as AutoCAD for reviewing architectural plans.
* Experience working in or guiding a Center of Excellence or similar strategic function.
