Just Imagine Colchester Day Nursery is a beautiful convertedhouse nursery, rated Outstanding by Ofsted (November 2022). We provide awarm, home‐from‐home environment where children feel safe, supported and readyto thrive. The nursery is located on Hawthorn Avenue via Acacia Avenue, basedon the school grounds of Colchester Academy, offering a well‐establishedsetting at the heart of the local community.

Room Leader duties and responsibilities:
Lead the room to deliver engaging, age‐appropriatelearning experiences
Support children's physical, emotional, socialand intellectual development
Role model best practice and support staffdevelopment and consistency
Oversee high‐quality learning records andsystems (EyLog/EyMan)
Ensure the safety, wellbeing and EYFS complianceat all times
Room Leader requirement and skills:
Full and relevant Level 3 in Childcarequalification - Essential
Over 1 year's experience working in Early Years- Essential
Sound knowledge of Ofsted expectations toachieve a Good or Outstanding rating - Desirable
Knowledge of the statutory framework for theEYFS and regulatory requirements - Essential
Fluent in written and spoken English - Essential
