Got a psychology degree and a passion for helping young people thrive?

We’re looking for graduates who want to take their understanding of behaviour, learning, and mental health into the classroom. This is a brilliant way to gain hands-on experience in schools – perfect if you’re thinking about a future career in teaching, educational psychology, youth work, or mental health support.

You’ll be working in secondary schools across Newcastle, supporting pupils who need a bit of extra help with focus, confidence and emotional wellbeing.

What you’ll be doing:

* Supporting pupils 1:1 and in small groups, helping them stay engaged in lessons

* Assisting teachers with behaviour management and classroom routines

* Using your psychology knowledge to understand and respond to different needs

* Building positive relationships that make a real difference day to day

What we’re looking for:

* A degree in psychology (or related subject)

* Someone who’s patient, empathetic and confident around young people

* Experience working with children or young people (desirable but not essential)

* A genuine interest in education, SEN, or mental health

Why join us?

* Weekly pay through PAYE – no umbrella companies

* FREE online training and CPD, including behaviour strategies and safeguarding

* A clear route into teaching, mental health or educational psychology

* A friendly local consultant who’ll match you to schools that suit you

If you’re ready to bring your skills into a role that makes a difference – and gain fantastic experience along the way – we’d love to hear from you.

Apply today and start supporting young people in Newcastle secondary schools.
