Working across all sectors, often in complex or highly regulated industries, our Real Estate team offers a broad and deep understanding of the property industry, along with technical expertise.
Our clients range from property developers, investors and lenders to public and third-sector organisations such as schools and health-sector bodies. We work in a variety of sectors, from energy and renewables to retail, leisure and hospitality, and from transport to logistics.
The role
We are now seeking to appoint a solicitor with between 3 and 6 PQE for our Bradford office.
This is an opportunity which will offer you the chance to build your knowledge and experience, as you assist more senior lawyers on most aspects of real estate work. This will include licences to assign, licences to underlet, drafting and negotiating leases, sales and purchases, drafting reports on title, property finance and development work.
You will be encouraged to manage your own client matters and develop client relationships. Occasionally, you will also support lawyers in other teams, for example in corporate and restructuring.
We expect you to contribute to business development initiatives and help the firm continue to achieve notable success.
What we’re looking for
You must have proven knowledge of real estate work, ideally having been involved in complex matters such as asset management, including agreements for lease, leases and surrenders, as well as development (commercial and residential) and investment work (acting for individuals and institutional landlords), where you can identify your role in achieving success.
You will need to have between 3 and 6 PQE and be keen to progress your career within a forward-thinking, commercial group of lawyers.
You must have a collaborative, flexible working style and proven organisational skills. You will also need to demonstrate an approachable, friendly and open style of working.
This means you must have excellent communication skills and be able to demonstrate empathy and sensitivity, reflecting a reassuring manner to our clients.
This role falls within our hybrid working arrangements, which combine working from home with office-based work.
