Assistant Behaviour & Inclusion Support – Secondary Schools Leeds & Wakefield

Join secondary schools across Leeds and Wakefield, supporting students aged 11–18 with behaviour, social, and emotional needs. You’ll work alongside senior behaviour leads and pastoral teams to help create a positive, inclusive school culture.
What you’ll do:
1. Assist behaviour and inclusion leads in managing student behaviour across the school.
2. Support SEMH and pastoral interventions for individual students or small groups.
3. Mentor and guide students to improve engagement, attendance, and social skills.
4. Help implement school-wide behaviour strategies and positive reinforcement systems.
5. Contribute to creating an inclusive environment where all students feel supported.
Who we’re looking for:
6. Patient, empathetic, and adaptable individuals who enjoy working with young people.
7. Graduates or aspiring behaviour/pastoral/SEMH professionals.
8. Strong communicators who can build trust with students and staff.
9. Organised and proactive, ready to support leadership teams in behaviour management.
What this role offers:
10. Pay: £101.40 – £130 per day
11. Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30 am – 3:45 pm
12. Hands-on experience in behaviour management, inclusion, and pastoral support.
13. Mentorship from experienced behaviour leads and pastoral staff.
14. Opportunities to progress into permanent behaviour, pastoral, or SEMH roles.
