Job Description Job Title: Regional Business Development Manager Location: Remote-based, with frequent travel across the South of England. Salary: OTE £50k (£38k–£40k base bonus) This role does not offer visa sponsorship now or in the future. Our client is an established and growing packaging business with a strong focus on innovation and sustainability. As part of their expansion, they are seeking an experienced Regional Business Development Manager to help drive growth and build lasting customer relationships across the South of England. This role offers the opportunity to manage key accounts and develop new business in a technical B2B environment. Key Responsibilities Manage and grow relationships with key accounts in the South of England. Identify and secure new business, focusing on packaging wholesalers and distributors. Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve targets. Present technical product features and benefits effectively. Conduct product demonstrations for both technical and commercial audiences. Identify cross-selling and upselling opportunities. Monitor market trends and competitor activity in the transit packaging sector. Provide accurate and timely sales reports and forecasts to senior management. Collaborate with internal teams to ensure a high-quality customer experience. Travel regularly across the South of England for client meetings and industry events. Contribute to improving CRM usage to support sales performance. Work closely with marketing to support lead generation and brand visibility. Share regional insights to help shape future sales strategy. Requirements Proven experience in business development and sales within the transit packaging industry (e.g. boxes, tape, labels). Experience selling to packaging wholesalers, distributors, or resellers is highly advantageous. Strong understanding of packaging materials, applications, and technical specifications. Self-motivated, with the ability to manage a remote-based territory effectively. Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel across the South of England.
