Role Overview We are looking for a skilled and customer-focused Mobility Equipment Engineer to install, service, maintain and repair a wide range of mobility and access equipment. This role involves working both in customers’ homes and on-site, ensuring equipment is safe, reliable and compliant with all relevant regulations. Key Responsibilities Install, service, maintain and repair mobility equipment including hoists, wheelchairs, mobility scooters, rise & recline chairs and access equipment Diagnose faults and carry out repairs efficiently and safely Carry out planned preventative maintenance and safety inspections Complete accurate job reports, service records and compliance documentation Provide excellent customer service, explaining repairs and equipment use clearly Ensure all work is completed in line with manufacturer guidelines and health & safety standards Manage van stock, tools and spare parts effectively Liaise with customers, colleagues and suppliers as required Skills & Experience Previous experience as a Mobility Equipment Engineer, Service Engineer, or similar field-based engineering role preferred, but training can be provided to the ideal candidate Strong mechanical and/or electrical fault-finding skills Experience working with mobility aids, lifting equipment or medical devices (desirable) Ability to work independently Excellent communication and customer-service skills Basic IT skills for completing reports and job updates Qualifications (Desirable) NVQ / SVQ Level 2 or 3 in Engineering, Mechanical, Electrical or similar LOLER inspection experience or certification Health & Safety training Full UK driving licence (essential) age 30 for insurance purposes What We Offer Tools and uniform provided Ongoing training and manufacturer-specific certifications Private health care (optional) and holiday entitlement Supportive team environment with long-term career progression How to Apply Please apply with your CV or contact us for more information about the role.
