About the Role
We are seeking experienced and reliable Travel Agents to join our team to provide 24/7 travel support. Due to the round-the-clock nature of our service, we are recruiting both a daytime staff member and a night-shift staff member.
The successful candidates will be responsible for booking, modifying, and managing travel arrangements using the Galileo GDS system while delivering exceptional customer service to clients at all hours.
Key Responsibilities
* Book flights, hotels, car hire, and other travel services using Galileo GDS
* Handle new enquiries, reservations, amendments, cancellations, and reissues
* Provide accurate travel information, fares, rules, and itinerary details
* Assist customers with urgent travel issues, including disruptions and emergencies
* Ensure all bookings comply with company policies and client requirements
* Maintain accurate records of transactions and communications
* Deliver professional customer service via phone, email, and online channels
* Work independently during assigned shift (especially overnight)
Essential Requirements
* Proven experience using Galileo GDS (mandatory)
* Previous experience as a Travel Agent or in a travel reservations role
* Strong knowledge of airline fares, ticketing, and travel regulations
* Excellent communication and customer service skills
* Ability to work calmly under pressure and solve problems quickly
* Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
* Good computer literacy
* Ability to work independently, particularly during night shifts
Shift Details
We are recruiting for two roles:
Day Shift Agent
* Standard daytime working hours
* Handling general bookings and enquiries
* Supporting ongoing travel arrangements
Night Shift Agent
* Overnight hours
* Managing urgent bookings, changes, and travel disruptions
* Providing support to travellers outside standard business hours
* Must be comfortable working independently
Desirable Skills
* Experience in a 24/7 travel environment
* Knowledge of additional GDS systems (e.g., Amadeus, Sabre)
* Experience with corporate or emergency travel services
* Multilingual abilities (advantageous)

Pay: £24,420.00-£32,000.00 per year
